Bob Sachs
CEO/President
Mr. Robert (Bob) Sachs is owner and Chairman/CEO of TEAM Technologies Inc., formerly known as Team Specialty Products Corporation (TSP). TEAM is an advanced engineering and manufacturing company located in the Sandia Science and Technology Park in Albuquerque, NM.
The company has grown to provide special services and products to several government and commercial customers. Mr. Sachs has been successful in continuing to grow a profitable company and to provide more than 70 high paying jobs in NM. While at the helm, Mr. Sachs has increased the company revenues five times since purchasing it in 2001.
Mr. Sachs completed the Executive MBA program at the UNM Anderson School of Management, and earned consecutive bachelor degrees from NMSU in Business Management and Economics, and Applied Mechanical Engineering.
Mr. Sachs spent the majority of his engineering career with Hughes Aircraft Company in Tucson, AZ and Los Angeles CA. While at Hughes, Mr. Sachs worked as a design engineer and later as a systems engineer where he lead critical development teams for Sidewinder (AIM-9X), AMRAAM, TOW, Maverick and a variety of other tactical missile programs. Mr. Sachs continued his graduate studies in Systems Engineering with an emphasis on Manufacturing Analysis & Technology Strategy through NTU with course work completed at Georgia Tech U., U. of Missouri Rolla, U. of Arizona and U. of Alaska Fairbanks. Mr. Sachs has more than twenty two years of experience managing R&D and production companies and projects.
Mr. Sachs serves of several boards of directors including the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Greater ABQ Chamber of Commerce, Bi-National Sustainability Laboratory, Sandia Science & Technology Advisory Council and Dean’s Advisory Council for the School of Engineering at NMSU.
Allan Day
Executive Vice President & General Manager
Allan B. Day joined TEAM Technologies, Incorporated as Executive Vice President & General Manager in April of 2010. He, his wife, and three children reside in Albuquerque since the spring of 2007.
Prior to that, he led a successful turn around effort at General Technology Corporation based in Albuquerque as their Vice President & General Manager, an Aerospace & Defense contract electronics manufacturing business unit of Crane Aerospace & Electronics and sold to IEC Electronics in December of 2009.
Allan has over 20 years of domestic and international management experience. He has held various leadership roles at United Technologies Corporation including positions in marketing, finance, automotive, manufacturing, and e-business along with several long term assignments in Spain and Mexico. He also has experience in functional leadership and implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Allan is a native Spanish speaker and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He is also a graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Richard Garcia
Director of Business Development & Customer Management
Mr. Richard (Rick) Garcia is the Director of Business Development and Customer Management for TEAM Technologies. Mr. Garcia previously was the Director of Electronic Manufacturing Services for TEAM and Business Account Manager prior to his current position. Before joining the TEAM organization Mr. Garcia employed by Sparton Corporation for 26 years where he successfully held various positions including, Customer Business Manager servicing customers’ worldwide in multiple-disciplines from Government, Medical, Tele-communications and Gaming Industries. He was the Director of Operations for Sparton’s southwestern division. For 18 years functioned as the Director of Information Technology for the division and as the Chief Information Officer for the corporation.
In addition to his full-time duties with TEAM Technologies, Mr. Garcia is also an Instructional Professor for Central New Mexico College assigned to the Business and Information Technology department. Mr. Garcia holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. In 1997, Mr. Garcia obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
